6 months

Today my baby boy is 6 months. These have been the 6 most sleep deprived blessed months of my life. I love love love this quote and it seems quite applicable to my nostalgic feelings today. They do grow up so fast.

Cooking and cleaning can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm nursing my baby and babies don't keep.

(Yes siree, these really are my boy's feet. You want to eat them, don't you?)

My first post

A little bit about me...
I cook... from scratch. I sew. I garden. I love to garden. I just learned to bake bread. I just learned to milk a cow... by hand. Attachment pretty much governs my parenting. Babywear, cloth diaper, breastfeed. Learn it, live it, love it. My eldest has Celiac Disease. Homeopathy rocks. Vaccines suck. All things organic are great. Thrift stores are pretty cool. I love fall. I don't watch much TV. I love to read. I just found out that I am a Republican! Whoa. My dad must be so proud. I would love to be able to live sustainably. I grew up in a village but always longed for all things country. Hmmm, I guess thats it for now. Much more interesting posts to come.
