So I started this blog to write about my adventures in gardening... and thus far I have been writing more about Spiritual Fruit that about Garden Vegetables... Don't get me wrong, I am all about the Fruit. But I am going to head on over to the garden today and give you a peek.

A repurposed tomatoe cage. My neighbor's husband welded together old calf fence. THIS is one heavy duty tomatoe cage. Brandywine Heirloom Tomato plant growing inside amid lettuce, onions and dill.

I actually had a bunch of fun garden photos like this but silly me I took them in RAW mode and now my computer is being stubborn and won't share them with you all.

I have cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, peas, j.peppers, b.peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, peas, and 3 types of tomatoes, tons of herbs-OH and weeds...

Love this! In the spring I was determined to have a garden (because all my friends were planting gardens...ahem). Then, as summer approached, I realized I really had no desire or interest to have a garden. I don't enjoy planting, weeding, or harvesting. I love the cooking part, but I can get the goods at the farmer's market. So in taking my own advice, I realize this is not a priority for my family at this time and THAT'S OKAY! I love to see what others are doing in the garden, and maybe next year...By the way, we planted kale last year. It came up great! But I thought it tasted yucky.
You have to hid Kale in things like soup, stew or quiche. :)
